Tim Morgan, Blacksmith
Blacksmith, heritage metal work and metal sculptures
Tim Morgan has been a Blacksmith for over 35 years. For the last 18 years, Tim has worked as a Senior Blacksmith at a leading Building Conservation company, working on many of our nation’s most treasured buildings.
Tim also creates traditional metalwork pieces from nails and chisels to decorative railings, gates and one-off sculptures. He is also able to undertake new commissions and repairs to historic ironwork.
Tim maintains a keen interest in historic blacksmithing, which feeds into his conservation and restoration work. He continues to collaborate with the SPAB (Society for the Protection of Ancient Buildings), Historic Royal Palaces and the National Trust. He also works directly with architects and designers.
Tim’s long experience and extensive knowledge of blacksmithing help him produce metalwork of the highest quality with great attention to detail. He collaborates with his clients throughout their design process to guide them on styles, techniques and finishes, ensuring that the final results meet their expectations.
Tim has his forge within Hewins Wood Farm, which is now open for visitors by arrangement.
